OUR PLATFORM
The Aperteur Network is the first wholesale media pipeline bridging the gap between content creators, major distributors, and real audiences via a streaming platform.
The Aperteur pipeline solves the problems endemic to the streaming world. Right now, content creators have little access to industry professions and struggle to make well-informed decisions around their digital assets and distribution. Industry professionals, in turn, have little interaction with actual content creators.
Most network distributors (ex. Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO Max, etc) curate and market projects with mass appeal in a process that’s exclusively driven by high-level executives. This top-down business model overlooks the untapped potential in indie television and film that better represents today’s culture and trends.

Aperteur instead offers a living laboratory of what works from many different content creators and genres of media. Through our OTT, fans establish trends in real-time and major distributors access undiscovered content that they need to stand out in a crowded field.

Our boutique roster of high-quality independent content distributed directly to fans will power many years of growth in an already rapidly growing sector. In 2020, approximately 2.13 billion people used over-the-top (OTT) video worldwide. According to the Advertising & Media Outlook, this is estimated to grow to 2.7 billion people globally by 2025.*

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
What sets the Aperteur OTT platform apart from other juggernauts in the marketplace is the mission of partnership over competition. Instead of competing with the leading streaming platforms, Aperteur’s goal is to create affiliate relationships with the major distributors.
In doing so, Aperteur’s team will have a direct line of communication with the distributors and provide more support to the content it acquires.
Furthermore, as Aperteur transitions into phase 2 (Jan 2022), it will develop a “first look” option for any top-tier network affiliates prior to putting it on the Aperteur OTT platform.
